Hougang United will be trading paws with the Malaysia's National U-19 team Harimau Muda B (Young Tigers) this coming Friday under the RHB Singapore Cup 2011 knockout competition. Last years Singapapore Cup winners were the team from Thailand - Bangkok Glass FC.
This match comes few weeks after the abandonment of the Hougang/Etoile match, and I think everyone deserves a much needed break to recollect themselves.
The Cheetahs would be banking on their 2-0 performance against Tampines Rovers to come out strong this Friday, although Harimau Muda are unlikely to give in without a good fight.
The Young Tigers currently competes in the Malaysia Premier League which is the second tier league. Their last match was against ATM, in which they lost 0-2. (Source)
The HougangHools nonetheless will be out in full force. We'll be meeting outside Hougang Stadium at 7pm for funfair and photo shoot. See you folks there! Go Cheetahs Go!
