The Singapore General Elections are heating up and so is the S-League; and Hougang United's up coming match against the Ram's will make way for the impending GE and moved to the Jalan Besar Stadium.
Woodlands Wellingtons have had a tough season this year, and have yet to register their first win. Their last game against Gombak United didn't bear fruits as the succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to the Bulls at home. WWFC now lie 2nd from the bottom sharing the same points as Tanjong Pagar United separated only by goal differences.
Hougang United have now edged themselves into mid table form and will be vying for 3 wins out of 3. The last 2 games saw the Cheetahs put 6 goals into the opposition teams - one solitary goal against Albirex Niigata and a thumping five against Tanjong Pagar.
The last time Hougang and Woodlands met was on Valentines Day. Hougang United scored a late goal in the closing minutes. A Diallo header separated the outcome.
