Tanjong Pagar vs Hougang United
The North Easterners pay the Westsiders a visit on Monday night that will see two clubs of the highest negative goal differences duke it out in the fields of Clementi Stadium.
Tanjong Pagar's 3 nil slum to Gombak United has once again rooted them to the 12th spot and compounding their morbid start to this season's S-League.
Tanjong Pagar's 3 nil slum to Gombak United has once again rooted them to the 12th spot and compounding their morbid start to this season's S-League.
Hougang United capitalizing on their 1-0 home win against Albirex Niigata will be looking forward to more positive returns in this fixture and ultimately closing the goal difference which has pretty much been the bane of their problems.
Both teams have had their biggest defeats coming from Home United. A 5-0 (02/3/2011) thrashing of Hougang United and a whopping 6-0 (18/3/2011) for Tanjong Pagar.
But the more encouraging statistics is that, at this stage of their campaign, Hougang United have scored a total of 12 goals in 10 games, which means they have scored half as much as they did for the entire 2010 season (24 goals in 33 games).
Ofcourse, I will be at Clementi Stadium, and together with the "Hoolies from Hougang", we'll be rooting for the Cheetahs to deliver the goods!
Come on Hougang! Come on Hougang! Come on Hougang!
(sing to the tune of Spiderman)
Cheetahmen, Cheetahmen!
Hougang United's Cheetahmen!
Cheetahmen, Cheetahmen!
Hougang United's Cheetahmen
...Lookout!
Here comes Cheetahmen!
Cheetahmen, Cheetahmen!
Hougang United's Cheetahmen!
Cheetahmen, Cheetahmen!
Hougang United's Cheetahmen
...Lookout!
Here comes Cheetahmen!
