I don't think it will be this gentle when Tuesday arrives


Looking back, Hougang United need to re-cap and capitalise on what was a fine first half display of sheer genius at the Bedok clash.

Going forward, the defenses need to hold and cracks need to be ironed out, which have been plaguing the backline this season. So don't give up lads! Chins up and train hard!

Kudos to Mr. One Hundred Noor Ali and Fazli Jaffar for their much spirited attacks along the Geylang United flanks. The game could have been a different scoreline if ladyluck had spent more time at stadiums than in casinos.

Both Mamadou Diallo and Diego Gama should be fit enough for the Balestier game and itching for a piece of action in the centre of the park and in front of goal. It really is frustrating not having to see the full squad in action because, with the amount of talent in there, at it's peak, they would certainly pose a genuine threat to other teams.

On a brighter note, what any Hougang United supporter loves is a striker on form. Jordan Webb taking his goal telly to 3 out of the last 3 games. Thank you sir! Let's hope I can "double confirm" with you to see to it a 4 in 4 on your next outing? But how easy for me to say, one who sits behind a screen. :)

Balestier Khalsa, as we speak are proceeding to square it off with Gombak United at the Toa Payoh stadium tonight. (updated: Balestier 1 : 2 Gombak)

So we'll just have to see how the game pans out before Aide Iskandar & Co formulate a winning strategy.

The Tigers will be a tough nut to crack but who says you can't take on someone bigger? We've swiped our paws at young lions, we will do so again at tigers. Boy... I can't wait for Hougang United's clash with the Tigers.

And I'm definitely looking forward to home fans cheering and clapping to our chants.
