Venue: Yishun Stadium, 7.45pm kick-off

After losing against league leaders Balestier Khalsa 2-0 in a match where they could have gone to the summit instead with a win, the bruised egos of Harimau Muda will face a Hougang United side seemingly down on luck.

In the 2-0 lost to Balestier, Harimau Muda looked out of sorts, despite having all the possession in the game. They looked short on ideas and were unable to split open the Tiger’s defence. However, in their previous loss against Home United, they bounced back immediately to win against Woodlands.

Wan Zack Haikal will once again be tasked to be the main creator for strikers Thamil Arasu and Ahmad Hazwan. Both strikers have to be clinical and take their chances, as Hougang have proven to be somewhat of a stubborn side. They will also need to cut out their defensive mistakes, which cost them the game the last time out.

Hougang United on the other hand, will be praying for luck. They are on a three games losing streak currently. They have not exactly played badly in those games either, with luck deserting them as showed by late goals in the defeats to Albirex and SAFFC.

Vidakovic will be tasked to lead the backline along with Syaqir Sulaiman, and both will be keen to avoid conceding another late goal. Jordan Webb will once again be expected to play a key role for The Cheetahs, with Diallo to play his sidekick. Diallo however, will be needed to put away his chances, after he missed chance after chance against SAFFC the last time out.

Harimau Muda last five games: WWLWL
Hougang United last five games: DWLLL

Prediction: It will be a very close fight between both sides. 1-1 (SOURCE)
