In a week when Hougang United became the talk of the world, with an impending bid from a Singapore-Based consortium, led by Mr Bill Ng, the Cheetahs will be preparing their upcoming game against the 8-times S-League Champions, Singapore Armed Forces FC.

Hougang had only won once in their last 4 games. However, they managed to hold out defending champions Tampines Rovers during the period, and were unlucky in conceding a controversial goal in the dying minutes.

Hougang would be looking forward to get over their disappointment of their last fixture vs Albirex Niigata. Played in front of 1,288 fans on a blistering hot Friday night, Hougang conceded in the dying minutes that saw them losing unfairly, however, with their heads held up high.

Coach Nenad Bacina might need to fix their defensive walls during set-pieces, as many of their goals conceded either come from set-pieces or clearance from the defensive area of opposition. However, many would be wary of the four way threat of Jordan Webb, Nurhilmi Jasni, Azhar Sairudin and Ante Barac, who had been impressive this season so far.

Hougang would also need to rely on Stanislav Vidakovic, the Croatian Giant. Standing at six foot four tall, Vida has been a revelation at the heart of defence. Not only he is the wall of Hougang, but Vida can also be reliable in attacking balls during set-pieces.

Apart from Hougang, the Warriors had been having a horror show of all-sorts this season. Picking up just a measely eight points this season so far, SAFFC had lost four straight games prior to this game. The Warriors weak point has always been their defence, which three of them are in the twillight of their careers. However, they boast a speedster of a forward, Fazrul Nawaz. The Singaporean International is well known for his fast runs and cutting through defence with ease, however, his finishing is suspectful.

Choa Chu Kang Stadium had been a favourite hunting ground last season for the Cheetahs, who played the Warriors twice last season. A Carlos Delgado freekick goal stunned the Warriors last season, and an extra time winner from supersub Basit Hamid sealed their passage to the League Cup Semifinals last season with a 2-1win.

The Cheetahs will be looking to boost their record with three wins in three at Choa Chu Kang Stadium, however, Fazrul Nawaz and co would be looking to save the Warriors' skins this Sunday.
