Courts Young Lions vs Hougang United
It was unfortunate though to miss the penalty but Hougang United have really done quite abit for themselves this season and there will always be next year to grab some silverware. :)
Back to business, Tuesday at Jalan Besar will see Courts Young Lions return to the S-League after almost 2 and a half weeks of hiatus from the league due to national duties.
CYL who are in 10th trail closely behind Balestier Khalsa have 4 games in hand and has the potential to leap from the Tigers if they do get past Hougang United.
The Cheetahs are placed safely in 6th and leading the pack of mid-tables while defending champions Etoile FC are ahead in 5th with 10 points separating the Cheetahs.
Courts Young Lions and Hougang United last clashed in March 14th in which the Orange and Black outfit gained an early lead through a Jordan Webb header and held the scoreline to the end.
Hougang United would approached this game with similar caution as CYL have come back strongly in recent weeks thrashing Woodlands Wellington 4-0 and narrowly lost to Tampines Rovers 1-0.
Not sure what Aide's plans are for Tuesday night but it seems that he'll have almost the entire squad at his disposal, with only Diego Oliveira and Mamadou Diallo unavailable because of injuries.
The Guinean, however looks more likely to be featured in the next game cos I said hullo to him at the League Cup finals and he looked fine.. haha.
I also managed to shake hands with Fazli Jaffar and Faizal Amir both sat out for the League Cup Finals due to suspension.
