The White Swans host Hougang United at the Jurong East Stadium this Thursday as both teams roll out their tightly scheduled fixtures for the month of July.

Albirex Niigata will have to play Gombak United and Hougang United in 04 days. And having crush the Bulls 5-1 on Tuesday, the White Swans will be keen to deliver the same goods to the Cheetahs provided they are not fatigued by their tight schedule.

And while Hougang United have had the fortune of 7 days rest after securing 3 points from a comeback against the Bulls at the Hougang Stadium last Thursday, they will have to face off Albirex (Thursday,7th July) and SAF (Sunday,10th July) in a span of 3 days.

However, back to back victory's for the Cheetahs should suffice their morale going into Jurong East albeit some defensive brainstorming is needed. The Cheetahs sit tighly at 7th position in the S-league with 23 points, but are still conceding as much goals as they have scored.

Scoring 32 goals and conceding 31 still seems like an equation that requires Aide Iskandar more visits to the drawing board. And with new signings Vitor Borges and Sharil Alias in the current squad, I look forward to see if their inclusion bare fruits in terms of goal differences.

But having said that, faith of the supporters also contributes change on the pitch and the 12th players of Hougang United shall gather at Jurong East faithfully. For ...
