Hougang United gear up to host visitors Gombak United this Thursday at the Hougang stadium. Aide's black army replenishes itself with extra muscle up front in the form of Brazilian striker Vitor Borges, who has since joined Hougang United after a 6 month stint at Balestier Khalsa.
It will be another tough match for the underdogs of the North-East, and if memory serves me well the Cheetahs only barely got by by the skin of their teeth when they shocked Gombak with a narrow 1-0 win at the Jurong West stadium.
Gombak United should be coming to this match with the intention of erasing their 2-1 lost to SAF last week and Hougang United are banking on their 4-2 winning form against Balestier Khalsa.
The contingent of Hougang Hools will certainly be there no less to welcome fans and spectators in their very own Hougang fashion. :)

His recruitment comes during this pivotal moment where the injury duck has hit the Cheetahs for about a month or so, leaving the fire power upfront severely wanting. And a big & strong fella like Vitor Borges is just what Hougang United needs. He will be a welcomed inclusion.
