In the first away game overseas this season, the Cheetahs will be looking to bounce back in the doldrums, after four consecutive defeats this season, when they take on DPMM in the hositile home crowd in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The Cheetahs will be looking to regain their confidence in scoring goals after the last four games have seen them scoring only three goals, eventhough they have dominated in games against Albirex, SAF FC and Harimau Muda.
The Cheetahs will be missing a few faces. Azhar Sairudin and Stanislav Vidakovic is still in doubt, with the latter was sent to hospital after a collision with a Harimau Muda player. Azhar is nursing a knee injury. Captain Lau Meng Meng is suspended for this game, after picking up his fifth yellow card of this season.
DPMM will be taking advantage of their home form. The Bruneian team is unbeaten at home all season, however, their small size of the team will be of a concern. Adding to the frequent flying to Singapore, their fitness will be a question.
The last time DPMM played in the S-League against Hougang predecessors Sengkang Punggol, DPMM had a clean sweep of three wins in the S-League.
Would it be a DPMM win in Brunei? Or can the Cheetahs rout the DPMM boys in style?
Come on Hougang! NO Surrender!
