The draw, which was held in Bugis Junction, under a scorching Sunday afternoon sun, was held as a fan fare event, to reach to the Sunday crowd in one of the busy shopping areas of Singapore. Alongside with the draw, the show was graced by the S-League cheerleader, the Super Girls, a trio of football freestylers and also held a mini kickabout competition involving the St Andrews' Junior School students.
The draw was seeded in what we have seen the most unique way. To determine the seeds, a ball-juggling competition involving the remaining twelve S-League team representatives, excluding the Young Lions. The longest to hold up the ball was handed the first seed.
